The Prop Edit FAQs

How long can I hire props for?
The minimum hire period is 2 days, with a maximum of 5 days. If you need longer, please get in touch — extended hire may be possible depending on availability.

How much is the bond?
A refundable bond of $200 is required at the time of booking. This is returned in full once all items are safely returned in their original condition.

What if something breaks?
Accidents happen. If an item is damaged, lost, or stolen during your hire period, you’ll be responsible for covering the full replacement cost. This ensures the collection remains available and in good condition for everyone.

Do I need ID to hire props?
Yes — a current photo ID (such as a driver’s licence) is required at collection or delivery.

Where do I collect props?
All collections and returns are from Fremantle. If you’ve booked the Full Styling Service, delivery of props to your shoot location is included.

Can I hire props for functional use (e.g., serving food at an event)?
No — props are intended for styling and photography purposes only and cannot be booked for events. They’re chosen for their visual impact, not for everyday use.

Do you offer styling support?
Yes — you can add Styling Recommendations to your hire, or book me for a Full Styling Service. When booked with styling, prop hire is available at an introductory 40% discount.
